Tokyo 2020 gold medalist Greysia Polii is among nine candidates bidding for the Badminton World Federation's Athletes Commission chair in the elections slated for Dec. 17.
There are six vacant positions for a four-year term, and the eligible voters can cast their vote at the TotalEnergies BWF World Championships 2021 in Huelva, Spain, or vote online.

If elected as the athletes' commission member, it will be Greysia's second appointment. Previously, she was the commission's member during the 2013-2017 term.
